Informal Discussion with Burlington Electric Department

The Vermont Public Utility Commission has been holding a series of informal conversations with people who regularly engage in its proceedings and are affected by its decisions. As part of these discussions, it has met with principals from Vermont utilities, including VPPSA and small municipally owned utilities; however, it  is meeting separately with Burlington Electric Department - a utility significantly larger than other Vermont municipal utilities and one that experiences unique circumstances stemming from its mostly urban territory and dual role as an energy efficiency utility (EEU).
BED leaders and other representatives will have the opportunity to meet with PUC Chair Anthony Roisman and Commissioners Margaret Cheney and Sarah Hofmann from 10:30 am to noon. Their conversation will take place in the Susan M. Hudson Hearing Room at 112 State Street, Third Floor, Montpelier (entrance at the rear of People’s United Bank building). While the public is invited, the only active participants will be the BED representatives.
