On Monday, July 17, 2017, the PUC announced adoption of a new order concerning "requests for deadline extensions." While the PUC, in the past, has routinely granted deadline extension requests where such requests were unopposed by other parties to a Commission proceeding, regardless of the timeliness of such requests, its new practice changes that. "[R]equests for extensions of existing deadlines will not be routinely granted, even if unopposed, unless such requests are filed at least three business days prior to the deadline that is the subject of such a request."
