Standard Offer Facilitator Position proposals Received

Pursuant to 30 V.S.A. § 8005a(a), the Vermont Public Utility Commission is required to appoint a Standard Offer Facilitator to assist with the implementation of the Standard Offer Program.  The Facilitator, among other things, is responsible for contracting for power with small renewable energy plants in Vermont and allocating the costs of the power to Vermont's electric distribution utilities.  More information about the Standard Offer Program is available at https://vermontstandardoffer.com/standard-offer/.  

On April 28, 2020, the Commission issued a request for proposals from entities interested in being appointed as the Facilitator.  The Commission received proposals from the following entities:

The public is invited to comment on the proposals.  The deadline for comments has been extended until May 29, 2020.  Comments may be emailed to the Clerk of the Commission at puc.clerk@vermont.gov.  Please put "Standard Offer Facilitator Proposals" in the subject line.
