We have recently received reports of a new utility scam. Vermont consumers are receiving calls claiming to represent the PUC and offering a monthly utility credit of $50 in exchange for personal and financial information. The PUC is not responsible for these messages. Do not give your personal or financial information out to unsolicited callers. Contact the Attorney General's Consumer Assistance Program at 800-649-2424 to report scam activity or make a complaint.
