The Vermont Public Utility Commission seeks an experienced Utility Engineer to review regulatory filings. Salary is commensurate with applicant's background and experience. The candidate selected for this position is eligible for the State of Vermont’s retirement program but not for other components of the State benefits package. Press Release: PUC Publishes Guides for Citizens

These three new guides will make it easier for citizens to participate in PUC regulatory proceedings. Written in recognition that the Commission’s quasi-judicial proceedings and vocabulary can be difficult for non-lawyers, the documents can be downloaded from the PUC website. Two will be available as handouts at public hearings; the third will be provided to non-lawyers who have been granted party status in cases with an evidentiary hearing.

RFP: Registered Engineers Experienced in Dam Design and Investigation

The PUC is soliciting proposals from registered engineers experienced in the design and investigation of dams to provide services related to: (a) Green Mountain Power Corp. petition to implement physical improvements and operational changes to the Marshfield #6 dam at its Molly’s Falls Hydroelectric Facility in Cabot, Marshfield, and Peacham, Vermont; and (b) Investigation into safety concerns related to the Marshfield #6 dam and GMP’s Emergency Action Plan. Note: Please include the RFP attachments with the proposal. PROPOSAL DEADLINE: March 12, 2019 │ 2 pm
